Members and supporters of Keep Our NHS Public made their presence known during the last 2 days. Where it counted – on the picket lines with the junior doctors.
Throughout the country, KONP was there alongside them as they held their 2-day action to stop Hunt’s unfair and unsafe contract, and the continued degradation and splitting apart of the NHS.
Below are just a very few of the pictures taken over the past 2 days. There were hundreds of images and thousands of words streaming through social media, flying in the face of mainstream-media apathy, lending their support. Silence did not triumph. We were there. We will always be with them.
Please, join us if you haven’t already. The doctors are the front line at the moment: but many battles lie ahead, and if you do not want to see the NHS disappear in all but name, if you want to keep it safe from private cherry-picking while the rest of it breaks down through cut after cut, they cannot stand alone. We must work together.
