New NHS legislation is changing healthcare in Britain, making it less accessible, less accountable, and less safe for staff and patients.
The Health and Care Bill makes the NHS more vulnerable to privatisation than ever, with increased involvement in decision making by private companies, putting profit before patients. Our NHS is already struggling after years of austerity, privatisation, understaffing, low-pay and the fall-out from fighting on the front line of the COVID pandemic. This dangerous bill is more of the same. Don’t let it destroy our NHS.
