Webinar | How do we end the corridor care crisis in the NHS?
Every day in hospitals across the country, NHS patients are being treated – or forced to wait for treatment – in corridors, waiting rooms, queuing ambulances or even store cupboards.
Corridor care poses huge risks to the health of patients, as well as the safety of NHS staff. Thousands of preventable deaths are caused each year by long A&E waits.
This crisis isn’t inevitable. The government could take action to tackle it, but so far they are choosing not to. With enough pressure, our movement can change this.
At 7pm on 27 May, the SOS NHS coalition is holding an online briefing featuring patients, health workers, politicians and campaigners to discuss the causes and impacts of corridor care, and the solutions needed to end it.
