The People’s Assembly Against Austerity | No to Austerity 2.0 National Demonstration
June 7

ASSEMBLE 12PM, BBC PORTLAND PLACE FOR MARCH TO WHITEHALL
See below for information on coaches to London on the day.
Austerity is not an inevitability, but a political choice. By spending money on arms rather than public services, social security and our NHS, this government is actively impoverishing us. This is why we will march from BBC Portland Place to Whitehall on June 7. We are calling on as many people as possible to join us.
JOIN THE NHS BLOC ON JUNE 7
Assembly point to be announced – please watch this space.
We are calling on the government to listen to the public. Most want an NHS that is available to all, funded by taxing the rich. Most oppose the disability benefits cuts and the drive to war. The majority also stand with the tens of thousands of NHS staff whose jobs are now at risk.
It was a Labour government that founded the NHS in 1948: we cannot let a Labour government dismantle it in 2025. We need a strong, united movement that can stand up for the NHS and its workers. Join the NHS bloc on the People’s Assembly National Demonstration.
