Saturday 30 June – 12 noon Portland Place London W1A – national event to celebrate and demonstrate for #ourNHS70 (see top)

Organised jointly by Health Campaigns Together, The People’s Assembly Against Austerity and the TUC with UNISON, Unite the Union and 9 other national unions. Calling for: 1: a publicly owned NHS that remains free for all at the point of use; 2: proper funding and proper staffing levels; 3: world class services for every community

Saturday 30 June 07.00 – 15.00 – Wales Save the NHS Rally ‘Shout it from the Mountains’
Snowdon SY20 9 Llanberis
Join us at the top of Snowdon to sing and shout to save our NHS. This event will run concurrently with a huge event in London – #ourNHS70 celebratory protest to mark 70 years since the NHS was created. Make your own way to the summit, by train [yes, train!] or on foot. Meet at 12 noon on the summit and let’s make some noise! We hope to live-stream the event to LONDON too!
Share the journey & walk the Miners Track with us! Get to the Pen-Y-Pass car park at 7am, if you need to park here, as this car park will be FULL by 8am! Other options are about 1 mile down the road & will also fill up fast! We’ll set off from Pen-Y-Pass car park at around 7.45am together, with our SAVE OUR NHS flags in hand! Tuesday 5 June 9.00am – Demonstration outside Weston Hospital
Weston General Hospital, Weston-super-Mare
On July 4 2017, Weston Area Health Trust announced the overnight closure of Weston General Hospital’s Emergency Department between hours of 22:00 and 08:00. The fight is on now to save the A&E. Meet on the grass outside the hospital. Come and show the Hospital Board what you think about the continued overnight closure of our A&E. See the campaign’s Facebook

Nearly 600 hospital caterers, cleaners, porters other staff at three hospitals in Lancashire are planning to strike for 48-hours over plans to transfer their jobs from an NHS trust to a private company it plans to set up as a wholly owned subsidiary (SubCo). The proposed action 23/24 May follows an 89% vote for strike action in a ballot which saw 73% of eligible members cast a vote.
