Marion Macalpine, a member of Hackney Keep Our NHS Public, has updated her exhibition How Come We Didn’t Know?. The photographic exhibition about the corporate take over of the NHS has been touring the country since 2014.
It has been called

‘Brilliantly revealing and informative and absolutely shocking. Needs to be widely shown and publicised.’

Through the exhibition Macalpine hopes to to explain how privatisation is encouraged by the latest major NHS reorganisation and highlight how ‘free trade deals’ will speed up this protest.
You can see the updated exhibition on Marion’s website.
If you’d like to borrow the exhibition please email [email protected]

Marion has been working on another exhibition with Helen Mercer.
The Private Finance Initiative: how come we’re still paying for this? is a photographic exhibition available for booking, free of charge, and is aimed at raising awareness and understanding of PFIs in the UK.
They have received the following feedback on their exhibition:

As people that knew nothing about PFI before, we have been thoroughly shocked and educated by this exhibition. We are now heading home to do further research into our local council and to spread the word far and wide.

Please head to the People vs PFI’s website for more information and email Helen Mercer via [email protected] to borrow the exhibition or order the accompanying booklet by Helen at £3 per copy.

You can also see these exhibitions at Keep Our NHS Public’s AGM on the 16th June. Head here to register.
