Supporting affiliates

We invite organisations that are not directly involved in health campaigning, but which are struggling for social justice and a fairer society, to support our work by joining Keep Our NHS Public as a “Supporting affiliate” group. It doesn’t matter how large or small your organisation is, from a large national trade union to a small local campaign or the constituency branch of a political party.

Remember: if your organisation campaigns directly on NHS-related issues, or is a trade union representing NHS workers, it can join directly as a full affiliate. Full-affiliate groups can vote in elections for our national Executive Committee, and can attend meetings of the Steering Group and vote in decisions taken. Supporting affliates, in contrast, do not vote in Executive Committee elections or at Steering Group meetings, although they can send delegates to the Steering Group as observers. They receive a regular newsletter from Keep Our NHS Public and are considered valued friends and supporters of the organisation.
