KONP is now continuing to receive several calls from national outlets in most weeks, indicating KONP is regarded as a ‘legitimate’ source and not as an unreliable one. Recent calls include one from the Daily Mirror asking advice about privatising of GP services; an interview on the ’Voice of Islam’ DAB station about KONP and the NHS (given by Alan Taman); and a request from ITN to send representatives to be part of a studio audience for The Agenda, a peak-time national programme looking at political topics, including the NHS (more on this will be sent out separately later today).
This service is provided as a guide to the main stories, but you can get alerts sent about health stories yourself every day.
This is done through Google news and Google alerts: free services anyone can set up. To find out how to do this, go to the Steering Group, News & Events section on the KONP website (https://keepournhspublic.com/support-konp/steering-group-page/news-events/ ) and look for the “starter set of instructions”.
Mobile devices also have free apps that provide news, which you can filter with varying degrees of control.
