KONP Day of Action | Greater Manchester KONP
March 9
Greater Manchester KONP is organising street stalls on 9 March – and a tram ride in between.
Location: They are starting by Bury Market at 11am and will be there for about an hour and 15 mins. Then they’ll get the tram all the way to Altrincham, which takes about an hour.
On the journey they’ll be talking to passengers, handing out leaflets, asking them to sign a petition (to the GM IC Board), and to send postcards to their MPs and/or to local councillors and local authority Health Leads.
They’ll be in Altrincham near the market for a stall from about 2pm to 3.30pm.
After that they are going to HOME in Manchester, where there’s a play in the evening ‘Work It Out’ – which highlights the barriers to physical activity.
