NHS bloc at Notting Hill Carnival

Join us to march, walk or dance for the NHS at Notting Hill Carnival!
The Nostalgia Steel Band have kindly agreed to host Keep Our NHS Public banners on their float, and have invited health campaigners to follow the band along. The event is on Bank Holiday Monday. We have a supply of scrubs and campaign T-shirts to wear if you fancy. Swee, one of the organisers, says: “Bring whatever one needs to make your carnival fun – libation, sunblock, etc. – and just dance or walk as much of the route as you can do.“ Drop us a line to the email address [email protected] ahead of time if possible to let us know if you’re coming along.
The exact starting time will be confirmed nearer the date but we will probably get together reasonably early in the morning (9-10 or so). We will leave from Maxilla Social Club (see the map below).
