Earlier this month, Keep Our NHS Public marked the 78th anniversary of the creation of the NHS. This was an opportunity for local branches across the country to celebrate the public health service, and to call on the Government to do better when it comes to protecting the NHS.
In its 78th year, the NHS faces crisis, political attacks and chronic underfunding. Keep Our NHS Public – already in our 20th year – will continue to push against this, and fight for an NHS that is publicly funded, provided and accountable.
