Social care campaign meeting

Following up the successful launch event of our new campaign for a National Care Support and Independent Living Service, this meeting will discuss how to wage a broad and powerful campaign to force the government to pay heed to our demands.

- Introduction from Keep Our NHS Public Co-Chair, Dr Tony O’Sullivan
- Brief overview on campaigning from a member of the Keep Our NHS Public Steering Group and Reclaim Social Care (see attachment)
- Brainstorming ideas for campaigning. Open space for people to speak on:
- What they think should be priorities for campaigning now
- What tools they think would be useful:: petitions, motions, webinars, ‘marketing’ materials, etc.
- Videos, local and or national meetings, possible days of action, etc.
- What they can offer as individuals or organisations
- Any thoughts on how to structure working together and have channels for direct sharing of informaiton between organisations
- Pulling together priorities, top ideas and offers
- Agreeing actions and next steps
