Meeting | KONP North East | Trade Bill: The campaign continues

The Trade Bill has progressed through the House of Commons unamended, which means the NHS is still on the table. This trade deal could lock in current and future privatisation, making it impossible to reverse, as well as opening doors to ever-spiralling drug costs. Future governments trying to reduce or remove privatisation could be faced with expensive legal challenges from US healthcare companies and the risk of massive fines.
There is still a chance that the House of Lords can amend the Bill – we have booked this Zoom meeting to discuss our campaign options. Please join us to see how you can help in the fight for our NHS.
