This Friday (11 March) will see the NHS Bill come to Parliament for its second reading. But it’s more than that. It is one moment in a procession of demand. One more step to try to save our NHS. And the health campaigns are making sure silence will not define that day. Join us. Shatter the silence and fight on. Hashtag #nhsbillnow
Protests are planned throughout the country and are listed separately.
The main ‘event’ is a protest outside the Houses of Parliament, from 11.00 on Friday. You can download further details here. Please, be there if you can.
Don’t let the Tories ignore this Bill in contemptuous silence.
Read more about the Bill from OurNHS, from the NHS Bill Campaign itself, and from the briefing.
Ask your MP what their views are: even after 11 March, they have no excuse for not telling you what they think. Let them know: this is not going away. Because if it does, the NHS surely follows. And that, we are shouting, will not be let go gently into oblivion. We will rage against the fading of that light. Friday is one more chance.
