There will be a massive march in London this weekend against the demolition of services and jobs in health and education, and the growing shame of the housing shortage and the sky-high rents it triggers. Please, join it if you can.
Organised by The People’s Assembly, the march will begin in Gower Street, close to Euston station, and end in Trafalgar Square.
It’s not just the marching that matters. Going on marches inspires you. It refreshes you – though it is is exhausting! It reminds you – I am not alone. There are many. We are many. And we can win. The sound of thousands of feet marching and people chanting what you believe in carries a strength of purpose that is undeniable and inclusive.
Please go if you can.
There is an encouraging piece by a student nurse on the OurNHS site about the march and why it matters. Well worth a read.
I was too late to make a comment,as I was away, but agree we must keep our NHS
However I look forward to more comments on this .
