5th July 2022 - 7:00 PM - 9:30 PM

Join us on Tuesday 5th July at 7PM live on The People’s Assembly Wales Facebook page for the public launch of our new campaign: OUR NHS – BORN IN WALES

Ymunwch â ni nos Fawrth 5ed Gorffennaf am 7PM yn fyw ar dudalen Facebook Cynulliad y Bobl Cymru ar gyfer lansiad cyhoeddus ein hymgyrch newydd: EIN GIG – GENI YNG NGHYMRU

Speakers will include leading trade unionists, health campaigners, disabled people’s rights campaigners, social care and support and more!

There will also be a closed Zoom discussion following the rally AT 8PM where we invite all interested parties to come along and have their say. Zoom link to follow.

What better day than the NHS’ Birthday to launch a new campaign in Wales aimed to unite all health campaigns to defend and protect NHS, social care and support services in Wales for our future generations. Our NHS in Wales is under threat. Our demands are nothing less than a return to the original founding principles of the NHS:

  • Reversal of all privatisation within the Welsh NHS
  • Reversal of all cuts and downgrades
  • Fair pay, decent conditions and appropriate training for all NHS staff

The campaign which is being led by People’s Assembly Wales is already supported by:

  • Unite the Union Wales
  • Unite Communities Wales
  • Unite Communities West Wales Branch
  • Disabled People Against Cuts (DPAC)
  • Keep Our NHS Public (KONP)
  • Socialist Health Association Cymru (SHA Cymru)
  • Swansea Trades Council
  • Mairead Canavan – NEU Wales Executive member
  • Elizabeth McLean – NEU Wales Executive member
  • Cerith Griffiths – FBU Wales Executive member
  • Pasty Turner – Unite Wales executive member
  • Fire Brigades Union Wales (FBU Wales)
  • Social Workers Union – SW

We expect many more trade unions and campaigns in Wales to follow suit and support this much needed campaign.

• Gwrthdroi pob toriad ac israddiad
• Tâl teg, amodau gweddus a hyfforddiant priodol i holl staff y GIG

Mae’r ymgyrch sy’n cael ei harwain gan Gynulliad y Bobl Cymru eisoes yn cael ei chefnogi gan:

  • Uno Undeb Cymru
