What’s happening in our NHS?
22nd October 2019 - 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM
A public meeting to discuss and explain the worsening conditions in our NHS, featuring opening talks from Dr Louise Irvine (South London GP and leading campaigner with Keep Our NHS Public) and Professor Sue Richards of the Executive Committee of Keep Our NHS Public.
Currently:
1. Cancer waiting times are the worst on record.
2. Two thirds of acute NHS hospital trusts are in the red.
3. Average waits for GP appointments up 30% to two weeks.
4. Plans for new so-called Accountable Care Organisations risk wholesale NHS privatisation.
Come to our public meeting to find out what’s driving the deterioration of NHS care, and how we can unite to reverse it!
