Press and photo call: World Suicide Prevention Day 2019: Highlighting children’s suicide/cuts to mental health services

Tuesday 10 September 2019 Parliament Square 12:30pm

Keep our NHS Public, Health Campaigns Together and Mental Health: Time for Action are joining forces on World Suicide Prevention Day to highlight the appalling threat to young people that a lack of investment in mental health services have and to publicise their forthcoming Mental Health Crisis Summit to be held 28 September at The Royal Free Hospital, London.

Tuesday’s gathering will involve the use of 200 pairs of shoes to represent the 200 children that are tragically lost to suicide every single year. Medical professionals and campaigners will be available for interview.
